AMARETTO CAKE
From the Kitchen of Jackie Schneider

1 pkg plain yellow cake mix
1 pkg (5.1 oz) vanilla instant pudding
¾ C. amaretto
½ c. water
½ c. veg. Oil
4 eggs
¼ tsp almond extract
glaze: 1 c. confectioners sugar sifted and 3 ½ Tbls. Amaretto
spray 10 inch tube pan
mix ingredients until thick and smooth
bake at 350 for 48-52 min. until golden brown
cool for 20 min.
remove from pan
put glaze on warm cake and garnish with slivered almonds if desired
